Shimon's own words
The memoirs were written by Shimon towards the end of his life, originally in English, for his children so that they would know (better) who their father was. Sections from the memoirs that refer to topics covered by the website are reproduced here.

About Shimon
Much has been written about Shimon: exhibition and book reviews, hate articles following his activities in London against the occupation and more. In ‘About Shimon', we present those articles that are directly relevant to the sections of this website: articles by Natan Zach, Adam Baruch, Amnon Birman, Yitzhak Laor and others about the man, the writer, the poet and the playwright. With the exception of three all of these articles are in Hebrew.
