Hakelev Va'ani

The comic strip, Hakelev Va'ani (The Dog and I) appeared in the Saturday supplement of Ha'aretz from 3rd February 1967 to 20th October 1967, during the period before and after the Six Days' War. The comic strips comment on Israeli society during this crucial time seen through the eyes of Shabtay, an extra-terrestrial being from a planet called significantly Tzedeq (Justice, which is the Hebrew name of the planet Jupiter), and his dog Pluto. At least 24 scripts appeared in Ha'aretz (we could not find traces of the scripts in June 1967, the month of the Six Days' War). We show here a selection of 15 [H], one of which is from Dappim Tzehubim, not from Ha'aretz.
